I just wanted to pop in and remind you that God wants to be your refuge today. I don’t know your personal circumstances, but I believe that everything you need will be found in your Father’s arms.
The word ‘refuge’ has so many meanings. Here are some of them:
Shelter: A basic covering of protection from the elments.
Sanctuary: Implies a place of refuge and safety, often from persecution or danger.
Haven: Suggests a place of comfort and safety, often from hardship or adversity.
Retreat: Indicates a place for temporary seclusion or peace, often for contemplation or recovery.
Asylum: Specifically refers to a place of refuge from legal or political persecution.
Stronghold: Implies a place of physical protection and resilience.
Safe house: A place of secrecy and safety, often used for those in danger.
Which one of these definitions resonates with you? What kind of refuge do you need the Father to be for you today? He will be the safe place you need to fall. You can relax and let go of every care that is weighing on your heart.
If you feel like running away today, you have permission to do so. Run to your Refuge.
